Golf Tournament

Wednesday, July 7, 2010

There is still time to enter the golf tournament!

Join us on July 7th for the golf tournament at the Pheasant Run Resort Course, an 18-hole, par-72 championship caliber layout with tree lined fairways, pristine lakes and carefully manicured greens.  A Maddox design, the course has received top honors and industry recognition for both design and competitive play.  The signature hole, the par 5 first hole, is recognized as among the most challenging in the Midwest!

Porsche men and ladies, come play a scramble format tournament with prizes for longest drive and closest to the hole (men and women).

Your entry fee will include the practice range, green fees, cart, sleeve of balls, golf shirt (men’s and ladies styles!), and delicious lunch after the tournament on site, during which time scores will be posted and prizes awarded.Golf Course

At the time of sign up you can put in a request to play with specific players, and that request will be honored, if possible.

You will be playing on the Resort Course at Pheasant Run. For information about the course, including an interactive course map that tells about each hole, click here:

Remember to bring your golf clubs (unless you are renting them at Pheasant Run), remembering to bring also your sunscreen, golf hat or visor, glove, balls, tees, etc.   Don’t forget your golf shoes!

It should be a fun event, and since the golf course is right at the hotel, you won’t need to drive to the course.  The shotgun start is at 8:30 am; however, you may arrive at the driving range/putting green as early as 7:00 am to practice.  You will need to be at the pro shop by 7:45 am to get your golf cart and hear the tournament rules as given by the golf pro.

After the tournament we will meet for lunch and awards.  The event should conclude around 1:30 or 2:00 pm.

If you want to play the Resort Course (the tournament course) prior to the event, you may contact the pro-shop to set up a tee time.
